I first read Geneen Roth's "When you eat at the refridgerator..." several years ago as my first introduction to intuitive eating. This book is a workbook of ideas to get you thinking, although several year old, it has some great ideas, particularly for those working through keeping away from diets and getting back into eating what your body needs.
Geneen has worked through those issues herself in the past and is quite open and honest about the sort of compulsive eating behaviour she had.
I recommend this book, especially if you have other non-diet books related to it to support the workbook.
